Stade Olympique. For most of the locals I spoke to, that tower in the background is like a thorn in the aesthetics of the city. #olympic #stadium #montreal #canada #stadeolympique

Spidy. Any bigger, and I would be the one crawling on it, rather than the other way around. Do you know about the mythological story of Arachne? She was a very talented weaver who made the mistake of challenging Athena, goddess of wisdom and crafts, who transformed Arachne into a spider (the winner depends on which version you read, but according to Ovid's version, it was Arachne). That's why the spiders are called "arachnids" and where words like arachnohobia come from. The Prado museum has one of Velázquez's most factual paintings that depict this story: "Las Hilanderas" ("The Spinners" or "The Fable of Arachne"). #spider #arachnid #animals #bigspider #montrealinsectarium #insectarium #montreal #canada #incagraphy #nomadinca #mythology

Twins. Not a group of people you can see every day. This is from a poster I saw in Barcelona for the Sónar festival, which had some years ago paranormal twins perform in it. This year they had a call for identical twins for a 'wedding'. #twins #identicaltwins #poster #photoofaphoto #wedding #groupwedding #barcelona #incagraphy #nomadinca.

Look up. It’s easy to get distracted with all the buzz and the crowd in La Rambla street of Barcelona. However, if you slow down and look around, you will find interesting and beautiful things that are somewhat hidden from the eye. Even though it’s a cool street to wander, sadly, La Rambla seems to have lost some of it’s charm to its popularity. For example, the covered market is now serving mainly as a tourist attraction, whereas the locals found other markets to get their fresh food away from the noise and crowd. The pickpocketing is frequent, which takes away the peace of mind you want to have to be able to immerse yourself in the positive side of the experience of a place. I wonder how different it was during the days of Federico Garcia Lorca, who said about La Rambla to be “the only street in the world which I wish would never end.” #sculpture #stone #stonesculpture #stonecarving #art #barcelona #spain #larambla #exteriordesign #exterior #architecture #travelphotography #traveldestinations #incagraphy #nomadinca
